Hi,

My name is Ty Harris, your natural hair stylist and loc maven. I became certified in my craft in 2020 and took a leap of faith to turn my long-time hobby of caring for others’ hair, into a successful career.

Locs have been a passion of mine since I was faced with my own personal hair struggles, and became educated in the principles of haircare. From there decided to do the “Big Chop” in 2017. I credit my drive to be a “Better” loctition to my own hair experiences, and what I wanted in a haircare provider.

I specialize in healthy, happy locs and having them on display, with pride. Our history has repeatedly taught us that OUR natural hair is not normal. I chose to work with locs and natural hair to increase awareness and visibility of our culture.

My vision for Locs of Love LLc. is to create a safe haven and one-stop studio where my clients can come unwind, relax and enjoy your crown, heart and spirit being pampered. The education on home haircare comes standard.

New Customers:

In order to book an appointment, a consultation and $25 deposit is required before scheduling.

If I have not serviced you in 6 months or more, you are considered a new customer.

During the consultation,

I will need:

...To see your hair in it's natural state. I will be studying your locs/hair for any issues or concerns, including but are not limited to: bald spots, thinning, missing locs, scalp conditions.

Additionally, I'm unable to provide treatment services for alopecia, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis or any medical skin conditions. Please seek a dermatologist.

Booking Guidelines:

All bookings are to be made on booking site. Locs of Love LLc. does not take appointments via personal message.

Please allow at least 48hrs to respond to all messages.

All money is due at the time of service, no exceptions. LOLLLc accepts cash, cCshapp and Zelle.

NO DEPOSIT, NO APPOINTMENT.

Your deposit goes toward your hair service fee

Booking Guidelines:

Please arrive on time. There is a 15-min grace period before cancellation.

No-Show = No Deposit Refund

If full payment is made before services and you have to cancel and a refund is due, the difference, minus a $50 convenience fee will be refunded in 7-10 business days.

If you have to reschedule, your deposit can be transferred for a different appt. day within 30 days (if available). That is only if

24hr notice is given.

Booking Guidelines:

Minimum age for service is 10 years old.

No extra guests other than children that are ALSO being services and being accompanied by an adult or guardian.

Locs Of Love LLC. does not do:

-Loc Repairs on new customers

-Loc Extensions

Having a style in mind or photo of what you wish to have is very much appreciated.

Hairstyles are ever-evolving and often times may look different on others depending on their hair and/or skin type.

If you’re not happy with your services, please let us know BEFORE you leave. We want you to be fully satisfied after each service. Once the appointment is complete and you have left, restyling will be an additional charge.

Booking Guidelines:

After Hours: Before /After Salon Hours, a $50 rush fee is added to your service and full payment is due at the time of booking.

Travel Accommodations: A flat fee of $100 is added to your service if within the city limits and is due at the time of booking. Travel outside of the city requires $1.50 per mile added to service fee and is due at the time of booking.
